The curriculum at Lindon Bennett School.

We do all the National Curriculum subjects and much, much more!

Our older pupils have access to horse riding lessons with a group of helpers from Riding for the Disabled. As well as having a hydrotherapy pool, our older pupils also go to Feltham Leisure Centre to develop their swimming skills.

We have a specialist music teacher and we also produce great music through Soundbeam sessions and some of us are learning to play and write our own music.

There is an ICT suite and classes love using their interactive whiteboards. We also can develop our ICT skills in the White Room and hydropool, and with little floor robots and digital cameras.

We have special theme times, such as our Tudor Topic, where we explored all sorts of aspects of life and food in Tudor times, including a Tudor feast and building a Tudor house.

Many other specialists come in during the week to work on areas such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. We also have two speech therapy assistants who have completed a course we set up to train staff from various schools in  speech therapy.
